Welcome to the SOA2M project website.
SOA2M is part of the Alcatel & Institut Telecom Ubimedia Project. The laboratory’s activities are structured into interconnected “Research actions” that will combine technology, uses and new business models. The one hosted in our Lab is SOA2M in order to develop a model of convergence for content/application/communities and proposing strategies of semantic and smart navigation in the digital world respectful of the security and confidentiality challenges.
SOA2M is hosted by the Multimedia Group ( MM ) of the Signal and Processing Treatment Department ( TSI ) in TELECOM ParisTech that is also part of the CNRS Laboratoire Traitement et Communication de l’Information ( LTCI ).

The Multimedia Group work covers graduate research programs and R&D projects in :
- scalable and robust multimedia authoring,
- content-adaptive software,
- video streaming,
- Open Source GPAC framework development
- distributed source coding
- and semantic multimedia webservices.
